In this video, we'll show you how to delete your YouTube channel.
Before you close your channel, don't forget, it's permanent. Your videos, messages, and
comments will be deleted. You will not be able to make a new channel with the same URL
later.
If you're sure that you want to delete your channel, sign in to YouTube. Then, go to youtube.com/account_advanced.
Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click "Delete channel".
Confirm that you want to delete the channel.
If your channel was linked to a Google+ Page, the page will still exist even after you've
deleted your channel. To delete your page, go to Google+, and choose Pages from this
menu. Find your page and click "Manage this page." Then under Settings, scroll down and
click "delete".
Deleting your channel is a bit different if your channel's linked to a Google+ profile.
To close this kind of channel, you'll need to go into your Google account settings and
disable Google+ altogether.
To disable Google+, click on your avatar at the top right when you're on YouTube. Under
Google account, click settings.
In the Google settings page, scroll down to the bottom and click the link to disable Google+.
In the confirmation page, click the required checkbox and then click "Remove selected services".
Once you click this, your entire Google+ profile will be disabled, along with the YouTube channel
connected to it.
