We’re gradually closing on the shores of Vietnam
and the wind is filling
and will continue to increase.
We’ll have to change headsail
and possibly put in a reef tonight.
We’re expecting 30 knots of breeze
with a 3 to 4-metre swell so it’s going to hum.
Added to this, there will be lot of changes
of tack involved in all that,
along the Vietnamese coast,
which we don’t know but we imagine will involve
a few tree trunks and few wrecks
dotted about the area,
so we’re preparing for 48 rather full-on hours.
