Hey what's up guys this is Darth Nine and you're watching my Black Ops 2 quickscoping
tutorial; today I'm going to be showing you guys some things to help you guys get started
with quick scoping in Call of Duty, and also improve your quickscoping so you can reach
your highest potential. So anyways guys, before I go any further I'd like to ask you to please
consider favoriting this video, not only would it really help me out, but it will also help
you find this video for future reference if you want to refer back to it and improve on
some things that I've mentioned in this video. So please consider doing that, thank you and
now let's get started with this video. So before you do anything with quickscoping you're going
to have to get down the timing for scoping in, so just practice doing this a few times,
it will really help you out knowing how fast you can actually scope in, because when you're
quickscoping you're going to want to snipe people as fast as possible, and knowing this
timing will really work in your favor. So figure this out, try and commit it to muscle
memory, because quickscoping in call of duty is all about muscle memory, you're going to
have to remember how this stuff works just naturally, you can't be conciously thinking
about this when you're doing it because otherwise you're not going to have a good time. But
once it feels natural, you should start doing really well and hopefully your sniping will
really take off for you. So the first thing I want to talk about is anticipating where
people are going to be. So when you're moving around the map it is always important to know
where the choke points are, and where people are going to bunch up. So for example on this
map like right there, right there, right there, this window, and over here, so if you're coming
from your spawn you have to keep that in mind, so if you're coming around this truck, keep
an eye on the side of the house, and right there and there. It's really important as
you're moving around the map and this applies with all maps, know where people are going
to bunch up and when you're walking by them make sure you keep an eye on them. You don't
neccessarily have to aim in there or anything, but just make sure you're aware that people
could be there maybe out of the corner of your screen have an eye on that so if you
do see someone you can snap over there. It's really important just to be concious of where
people are going to be and not run blindly through out the map. Alright, so the next
thing I have for you guys is between shots, make sure you are using cover. So the DSR-50
actually has a very slow fire rate. That's the sniper rifle I'm using right here. It's
the most popular sniper rifle for quick scopers, so if you guys are wondering what sniper rifle
you should use, it's this one. So it has a very slow fire rate, this is about the fastest
you can shoot with it. So what you're going to have to do to deal with this low fire rate
is after you snipe someone, get behind cover and then snipe them again once you're ready
to take the next shot. Because if you just stay out in the open and leave yourself vulnerable
the whole time, you're going to get a lot more deaths if you just stay out like this.
So while you are inbetween shots, make sure you are using cover. So it could be something
like a wall, or it could be you know a car, sniping like this, ducking behind it. And
I'm on tactical by the way let's show you that. So my button layout is on tactical that
allows me to use the right stick to crouch so that really helps if you're using cover
like this to shoot someone and then crouch and then shoot them again. Especially with
a low fire rate sniper rifle like this and all bolt action sniper rifles. So consider
using cover to your advantage inbetween shots. It will really help you out, and especially
with a low fire rate sniper rifle like the dsr-50. Alright! So, the next thing, if you're
looking to improve your sniping, once you've got everything down, you want to take it to
the next level what you've got to focus on is scoping in closer to your enemies. So,
when you first start off you might start scoping in like, I don't know, kind of far and then
having to drag. But once you've got the hang of it, you're going to have to focus on scoping
in as close as possible to the guy, and always having your aim on the guy as fast as possible.
Because if you scope in away from him, and you have to drag, that's time leaving you
vulnerable, so other people... Even if this guy doesn't see you, people in different directions
could shoot you because you're taking too much time on the shot. So to reduce the amount
of time you are vulnerable, take the shot as fast as you can by scoping in as close
as possible to the guy. And it will come over time, but it will take a while to get it down,
so practice against bots, is my suggestion. Set up a private match with bots on the other
team on recruit just to get down the timing, and how close you can aim in. When people
are moving you have to consider, like for example if this guy was running, you have
to shoot kind of infront of him, or start scoping in infront of him, so by the time
he's there you're scoped in already. That's something again where your timing will come
in handy, knowing how fast you can actually scope in, so when people are running you can
start scopin in infront of them so by the time they're there you are already scoped
in. So you're not having to chase people when they're moving. You shouldn't be chasing people
like this when you see them running across your screen, you should be scoping in in front
of them. Okay? So I'm going to set up some bots, and show you guys how I snipe; I guess
against bots, it's pretty similar hopefully to real people, and after you watch me snipe
for a while hopefully you guys will go out and try this yourself, and I suggest like
I said, you start off in a private match against bots, because that's the fastest way to learn.
So anyways, I'll see you in a minute, I'm going to set up some bots, and hopefully you
guys will enjoy watching me snipe. Alright guys I'm back and I've set up a bunch of bots
on the other team, so I would suggest you guys practice the same way as this. I've set
up 9 bots they're all on recruit difficulty, so of course it's not going to be challenging,
but it will do is allow you to practice all the things I talked about like the muscle
memory, anticipating where they are going to be, using cover between shots, stuff like
that. So, hopefully guys, if you try this out making a private match with all the bots,
your quickscoping should improve pretty fast, and you should be on your way to dominating
in public matches as well. So, hopefully this tutorial has helped you guys, make sure you
practice in.. ...private matches like this, like I said it's going to be the fastest way
to practice your quickscoping so... yeah guys, like I said, I hope you enjoyed, if you enjoyed
this video, leave a Like, I would really appreciate it, and sorry I'm out of ammo I need to reload,
but, anyways. Yeah, there you go guys, I hope you guys enjoyed, leave a Like, Favorite if
you haven't, and I'll see you next time, peace.
