Hi, I'm Danielle. And I'm Jarred. Welcome to Marguerite Hall, named after Saint Marguerite d'Youville. Marguerite is our twelve-story residence hall, housing mostly first and second-year students. Marguerite provides a safe environment with a swipe card entrance and individual room keys. Marguerite contains mostly double and a few triple occupancy rooms, shared with bathrooms on each floor, which are separated by gender. The secure parking lot located directly next to the building is reserved for residents of Marguerite. And yes, we do allow freshman to have cars on campus. The security desk in the lobby is staffed by a guard twenty-four hours a day. All vistors are required to sign in with a resident student and leave photo I.D. at the front desk. The Residence Life Office is located on the first floor of Marguerite. You'll also find the Health Center and Personal Counseling Center here. So you can take care of all of your wellness needs without ever leaving the building. Each floor in Marguerite has a study lounge, a TV lounge and kitchenette, as well as a Resident Assistant. There's also a computer lab that offers free printing. But, it's BYOP....bring your own paper. Each double room in Marguerite contains two beds, closets, desks, dressers, chairs and a corkboard. In addition, each room has its own thermostat, so residents can control their own heat and air-conditioning. Marguerite also offers ethernet and wi-fi internet, as well as free laundry facilities.
