Ocpm Glass Slipper Fete 2012

Welcome to the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine's 8th Annual Glass Slipper Fete. All of the
funds we raise tonight are allocated to the OCPM Scholarship Fund which allows the college
to financially help succeed in realizing their dreams of becoming podiatrists in the very
near future.
The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine is soon to become the Kent State University College
of Podiatric Medicine. This will happen some time in July, thank you, we are very very
pleased about this (clapping). It is, it is truly one of those things you say it's a marriage
made in heaven. The, um, opportunities for our students educationally, exposure to sports
medicine teams, uh, things like that will be absolutely phenomenal. Uh, the poeple at
Kent State have been incredibly gracious. We've worked very hard over the past few months.
We'll be working very closely together to insure that this transition is not only seamless
but is, uh, a major benefit to our students and also to Kent State University.
