Sjfc Countdown to Commencement 2012 - Chris rush

The reason why I chose St. John Fisher College is because it is close to home, um they’re known for being a really good business school and my major is business. And also, I got accepted into HEOP program, that um um it takes um pays for a majority of my education to go here. I chose business management as my major because I’ve always seen myself as business minded and it’s a degree, I mean it is high in competition. I kinda feel like if you have a business degree business isn’t going anyway they’re always going to need managers so I figure some kind of security if I went and got a major, a degree in business. My extracurricular activities I’ve been involved in at Fisher, are a work study student here in the TV lab I rent out equipment for C/J majors and minors. Um I play intramural basketball every year I’ve been here and I’m also Vice President of the TV club. I’ve been involved in CTV my whole career here at Fisher. My favorite dining hall meal is the Butter Ranch Chicken that they have. Um I think it’s every Thursday or every other Thursday. Those are by far the best meal options they have here. My favorite spot on campus would be the campus center. My freshman to sophomore year um I played a lot of pool there and I watched a lot of TV there in between classes, haven’t had much time you know as a Junior and Senior due to working and taking on tougher courses but that’s gotta be my favorite place on campus is the campus center. My favorite memory of St. John Fisher will be me walking across the stage and getting my degree. Upon Graduation from St. John Fisher College, I will be working at Wegmans as a buyer in the grocery department I have been an employee with Wegmans for six years now. I started when I was 15 years old. And now I will be a buyer upon Graduation.
