Hello guys, this is Ilias the Ranting Greek Gamer and today we are reviewing Hunter x Hunter episode 94,
As you can see i decided to continue Hunter x Hunter normally, because Attack on Titan will be finished in 4 episodes,
because my time management is a bit difficult concerning my upload times on Sunday,
until Attack on Titan finishes (because its on the same day)
so my HxH reviews will be up as usual - but a little bit delayed until Attack on Titan finishes. Thats all.
Now, on with the HxH review:
I would like to stand a little bit on Gon, in the beggining
i have to say that i really liked the scene of Gon and Palm at the lake,
with all that romantic atmosphere,
I have to say that i really admired Gon at that point XD
Eventhough i am a grown man and women have passed through my life,
i wish i had Gon's confidence and seducing abilities XD
because he handled the whole thing with Palm really-really well :)
he made the girl to tottaly melt in his hands and i really enjoy the scent, dunno why XD
but i was seeing Gon doing the things he did and i was like "thumbs-up" all the time XD
So yeah :)
The scene with Gon and Palm was beautiful :)
And the things that Gon did for Palm were beautiful too
Bravo for Gon, i believe that he will be quite a "ladies man" when he grows up XD
Although Gon messed up a bit in the end, because he said to Palm that he cannot give her what she wants,
because his main goal is to become stronger and find Kaito.
so that pissed Palm off and she went back to her old psycho self
So the beautiful and sweet Palm that we saw earlier, she became a total psycho once again.
But i tell you again, the Gon-Palm situation is one of the highlights of the episode,
Even if the main attraction is something else
And then we go to Killua who is facing that chimera ant called "Rammot" although im not sure if thats the correct name...
where Killua is facing the same issue as always, meaning
Illumi gets into his head and tells him "dont fight if you cant win, run away, dont do this, dont do that"...
But Killua does not want to obey to Illumi's orders,
because Gon and Palm are nearby and if the chimera ant finds them, it could kill them easily.
and Killua doesnt want Gon to get hurt
because as you may know, Gon cannot use Nen for a whole month.
And we see Killua getting beat-up really badly from the chimera ant,
i have to say that this chimera ant, really reminded me of Hisoka in the way that it enjoys its battles,
and in a little more "pervert" way as well o.O
because you guys i dont know if you saw it... that chimera ant was wearing tanga shaped ***... lol WHATEVER... :P
OK... i admit that i have never seen before a carnivorous chimera ant that is wearing ***...lol
Lol, anyway i thought that it was funny as hell XD
So we see many similarities with Hisoka in the way that it enjoys its battles, e.t.c, e.t.c
But in the end, because Illumi's orders are hammering Killua's head so much,
and because he couldnt take it anymore and he wants to protect Gon more than anything else,
He does a movement like this and pierces his forehead,
(he basically puts his fingers in his skull, amg...)
he pulls out a needle, that from the looks of it, was put there by Illumi from when Killua was very little,
and from the looks of it, this needle is what was preventing Killua from fighting properly in so many battles and so many episodes all this time
and with his own will.
So the moment when Killua pulls the needle out of his head, he immediately looks more relaxed and very relieved,
as if a huge weight came off his shoulders,
we see him smiling for the first time after a long time i think,
and he looks at the needle and he realizes that his brother was behind all of this.
And after that and since Killua has finally no restrictions on how to fight,
he kills the chimera ant very easily, basically chops off its head and holding it up,
Warns the chimera ant that if its friends come any close to them, they will be pulverized,
but the chimera ant doesnt want to comply, so Killua squashes its head and splatters its brains all over the place :P
So we have the return of Killua and he is now stronger than ever,
And im very glad because Killua is a very strong character and apparently, even stronger than Gon,
but seeing Killua unable to fight in previous episodes because something was in his way,
(especially when you consider that he is used to the killings and the fights)
it was really weird, but im happy that Killua is finally "free" so to speak.
Killua then heads to the lake to find Gon and Palm but they are not there,
so he heads back home and he sees Gon writting a whole lot of apology letters on the floor that are adressed to Palm,
who threatens Gon with a knight on her hand btw
And poor Gon (i dont know if hes a poor soul or just a plain idiot in this case :P )
he slowly writes down the apology letters for Palm's sake,
(which shows that Gon is a kind soul because he doesnt want to hurt Palm)
he understands that he ruined her dreams and he doesnt want to hurt her
But thats when Killua finally steps his foot down and tells Palm to cut the crap and that this will not continue anymore,
And eventhough Palm attempts to kill Killua, she doesnt succeed
since Killua avoids her strike very easily.
and he grabs Gon and they run away.
Palm then uses a new ability (which seems valuable to Knov btw)
if she combines her blood with a certain artifact which you will see for yourselves,
she can use it in order to find whomever she wants in the world.
At least thats how i understand it.
And she heads out to find them, but Knov appears and asks her about where she is going, what is she doing e.t.c
When Palm sees Knov again,
her old crush returns and she forgets Gon completely.
So this matter is solved and Gon is safe
And Killua is back to his good old self.
We see the kids in the next days doing various activities and being tottaly fine.
Gon notices a change in Killua but Killua doesnt tell him anything about Illumi's needle in his forehead.
But anyway the kids are back to their good old selves,
and Knov and Palm are watching them closely
now i dont understand exactly WHY they are doing this, not sure what they want to find out.
Maybe they want to see if they are in a good psychological condition or if they can handle future situations easier.
But as i said, the kids are tottaly fine.
And in the end we see that cheetah-like chimera ant,
which is running carefree on a street,
until it sees Knuckle in front of him.
Who takes off his jacket, shows off his muscles and prepares to strike the chimera ant,
He doesnt make it though as the cheetah is very-very fast,
But we see a smoke-like mist around that reveals that Morel is there too and takes part in the battle as well,
They try to strike the chimera ant, but they are un-succesful,
the chimera ant throws at them a barrage of hits, damages them a little but nothing critical.
I do not believe that this chimera ant is a big challenge for Knuckle and Morel,
i believe that they can surely beat it.
But we will see what will happen in the next episode and im happy that HxH is stepping up the pace once again,
and just like i said in another episode, this is the style of HxH:
Meaning, battles, then a brief pause, battles again then a brief pause and a bit of recollection,
but anyway the Chimera arc is on a very-very good pace up to this point.
Do watch the episode, you will like it,
The scenes with Gon and Palm are VERY nice, honestly :)
Even later on when Palm becomes a psycho again,
we generally see that Gon is a good soul, even if he messes up in the end :)
And most importantly, Killua freeing himself from Illumi's "curse" so to speak,
finally becoming himself and being able to fight properly,
very good character development for Killua and im very happy for him,
he is one of the troubled characters of HxH and he deserves a whole lot better,
So im happy to see him again being "power" if you know what i mean.
So folks, this was my HxH review for this week,
thanks for watching and thank you for ALL your support in general,
