- [Sammy] You guys are pretty badass in the film.
- Thanks, man.
- Thank you.
- [Sammy] You're welcome.
- Was that your badass pose?
- What's your badass pose?
- Just, just...
- Just your face.
- Don't, you're too badass.
(laughs)
- You've got a bad pose?
- Umm...
- [Sammy] On the spot.
- This is me doing badass.
- I like it.
- I think it's more...
- What's yours?
- Were you worried, at any point, that you could
potentially contract the flare?
- I was, yeah.
I didn't want them to spit on me.
There was a lot of like, aaarrghh.
- Yeah, don't need that.
- Pretty gross.
- Cut that out of your life.
(angelic music)
- We haven't done a Niki and Sammy at the movies
video for a while.
So, we're gonna kick it off in 2016
with the cast of Maze Runner.
- You heard right...
- What's that?
- Maze Runner Scorch Trials.
- What's that, what's that?
Say, what's that.
- I can hear moisture leaving all of your orifices.
- ***.
- Anyhoo, we got the chance to sit down with
Ki Hong Lee.
- Thomas Brodie-Sangster.
- And Kaya Scodelario.
- And we asked them lots of questions about how they
would, personally, survive in the scorch, which,
if you aren't aware is a massive desert that's really
dangerous in the film.
- Basically...
- We've actually thrown together a VT of our survival tips,
if we were in the scorch.
We would like you to critique them and review them.
- Sure.
- You can be as brutally, brutally honest as you'd like to.
- [Ki] Honest? Alright.
- Not too brutal, preferably.
- [Sammy] No, rip it apart.
(ominous music)
- See that.
- That's our impenetrable fort.
- Oh, okay.
I thought those were sand dunes or something.
- I mean, yeah.
- There's music.
- [Niki] Uh huh. This is the fort.
- Oh, that's a great blanket.
- [Niki] Right?
- Cozy. it's got to be cozy.
- [Niki] 'Cause it's like cold at night, in the scorch,
isn't it?
- Very true.
- [Sammy] Yeah.
- [Kaya] Very cold.
(ominous music)
- Oh, that looks dodgy.
What are you doing there?
- I was just warming my hands.
- [Kaya] Oh, okay.
- Do you think that would work?
A fort like that?
- I'm so thirsty.
(ominous music)
- You're thirsty.
- Thirsty. We're all thirsty.
- Alright.
- For context, it's a fish pond.
- Yeah.
- [Thomas] Right.
- Sexy. Yeah, like it.
- [Niki] Right?
- Peeing and then filtering it yourself instead
of doing that.
- Uh huh.
- You think?
- [Ki] Yeah.
- Getting your greens.
(laughs)
Yeah, you have to look like you're enjoying it a little
bit more though.
- [Niki] I was like, nutritional value, enjoyment, equal.
- Hahaha.
- I knew it's funny.
- Day 36 and I still haven't seen a human contact.
It's dark down here and my only flashlight's about
to run out of power.
- You should probably conserve that.
- Batteries, batteries.
- Yeah.
- [Thomas] Or the solar powered or those wind up ones.
- [Niki] Yeah.
- Yep. See. Told you.
- Wind up.
- A broom.
A broom is always useful.
Why not take a broom with you.
- Right.
- Didn't have a gun.
- Housework and defense.
- That's good, because it could be a broom.
You could be cleaning.
Or you can also clean yourself, it's like a
back scratcher.
- [Niki] Right.
- And also, be used as a weapon.
Just pierce some people with it.
- Yeah.
- [Ki] Yeah, there you go.
- So, pole dancing? Yeah?
That's useful.
- If that's what you want to make from that.
- Seduce the the Cranks. Yeah.
- Has anyone tried it?
- I think you're the first and I think you win.
- Well this is the best one, right here.
The broom with the, yeah.
- We never thought about bringing a broom.
- A broom, that's the best.
Yeah, we didn't even think of that.
- Yeah.
- [Niki] I think it's good to make the most of your
varied skill sets.
- Yeah.
- Uh huh.
- Now you're just dancing.
- There's a story behind the dancing.
It's like, throw them off the trail.
- [Sammy] Right?
- Okay.
- Look at this dirt face that he's got here though.
- And that's...
- That's actually my resting dirt face.
- Resting dirt face.
- [Niki] If I sit there that's...
- [Ki] RDF.
Hashtag RDF.
- RDF.
- Yep.
- You know when someone's too cool and you're like,
I want to be that cool one day.
How did you just abbreviate RDF like...
- It just came to me. RDF.
- Hashtag...
- That's what it is.
- Scorch.
- [Niki] Is there anything...
- Nothing. I had nothing.
What?
- Do you just think before it comes out?
(laughs)
- [Sammy] Sometimes, I'm like, I should engage my brain
before I open my mouth and (mumbles).
- If you want to find out more about the film and where
you can buy it on DVD and all of the information you
could possibly need, we'll be down below
in the description.
Have a mosey on down there and have a look if
you want, Governor.
- But, it's a Wednesday video, so it's time for
commenting.
♫ Comment, Commmmmennnts
- Comments.
- Alex Dickinson said that there was a person at
the checkout of the store she was in that she knew and
instead of dealing with that situation she left.
And the reason I chose this comment is because,
basically, you are me.
Rosanna said, "Oh my God, Sammy without Niki is
the weirdest thing."
- But also the best thing, just like chips without salt
and ketchup can actually be really good too.
No?
- Okay, this is my favorite comment on the video where
I was ill.
Ellie Chung said, "Does Niki feel Icky?"
- Props.
Thanks so much for watching today's video guys.
Make sure you give it a like and comment down below
so you can be in future comment, comment, comments.
That's the name of it.
- And also, let us know what films are coming up that
you might like to see us do some stuff around, 'cause that's
always fun.
And we'll see you guys soon.
- Bye.
- Relatable cont...
None of that.
Just didn't like that.
This is the third time I've filmed this.
The first time, I said things like this.
I cannot hold a baby without feeling like I'm gonna
drop it.
And then the second time, this happened throughout
the whole video.
(ominous music)
