On May 22, 2009, at the Olympus Educational Center, a newly reconstructed laundry facility was unveiled, supported by Counterpart International.
Before reconstruction, the facilities were in a terrible state and hardly used.
The “Srberi Baregortsutyun” organization also took part in the project and donated furniture and equipment to ensure complete renovation.
The program implemented not only improved the sanitary and hygienic state of the school, but was also a wonderful example of kindness and giving.
Counterpart International provided our school with equipment and rebuilt our laundry facility.
We are now at the newly-reconstructed school and use the laundry, which is in a very good state.
I have been studying at the Olympus Educational Center since the first grade.
The laundry was in a very bad state then and I am very grateful that this organization made such repairs and improved our laundry.
I am very happy to work in such conditions.
For years I had been working in very difficult conditions but tried hard to keep the laundry area clean.
The children are now more content because of the improved laundry facilities and are happy.
I am very lucky to work in such conditions.
