You Ve Just Been Trolled

Hi ! I'm Melina J, and this is another video of a girl ranting about the trolls on the internet. Warning : this video may contain strong...French accent So one day you're on Twitter like usual tweeting whatever comes to your mind or interacting with your followers. And it's all fun, just having fun. But then...then they come the trolls And once they're here they are never ever going away. Never ever. Nope. At first, the trolls will be nice with you and tweet you nice things and chat with you randomly. But that will change. Oh yeah, that will change really soon... And then, after you talked to them lots of times on Twitter like once or twice, they will tweet you everyday. But don't you dare reply slowly or being busy. They don't like that. And they will let you know, and ask you questions like : "why do you reply so slowly ?" "How dare you not being on Twitter when I am tweeting you ? I don't care it's 4 in the morning where you live !" "I thought you were a nice person... Why are you doing that to me ?" But you've got to understand those trolls. They don't understand why you're busy, because they live in a world where everything is free and they have nothing to do at all. You know, this magical world called "Mummy and Daddy's house" And after that, when they see that weirdly enough you're mad at them and ignoring them. They DM you, you know, private messages, and they apologise. Like : Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you or be rude or be mean. I promise I will never do that again. So they try to chat with you through DM, because they want to know you, and you've just met 2 days ago on Twitter. So they want to know everything personal about you, and ask you lots of questions. Like : what's your name, how old are you, what's your height, what's your weight, what's your best friend's cousin's pet name, where do you live ? And so on. So, either you stop talking to that person, or either... yeah... So, you do answer their questions, but nobody said it has to be answered with the truth... I'm 21 year old, and I have 15 kids, and next week I'm going to the Jeremy Kyle show ! Yeah...Because my husband kind of slept with my cousin, and (with) my cousin's husband, and (with) my cousin's dogs, and...yeah... I am 75 year old, my grand daughter just taught me how to use Twitter. I'm actually a guy, from North Korea, and I tracked your IP (address), and I know your address, and I will launch a nuclear bomb on your house. Mwahahaha ! You know, usual stuff girls make up when they're annoyed by a guy... And soon enough, the troll will be mad at you, because you are replying really slowly again. You are really mean ! And then he will start to subtweet you. And if you don't react to those subtweets because you didn't notice or care, they will make sure that you know that they're subtweeting you, by adding some of the stuff you told them in DM. And then, the troll will start to react to everything you tweet, through subtweets... OMG, I can't believe you just tweeted that ! How dumb are you ? OMG, you are so mean ! I am so disappointed in you... I don't like you anymore, I don't want to be your friend. Sometimes, you just don't react to those subtweets, so they say it through DM, directly at you... And then you're like : OMG, I've known you for 5 days, 5 entire days ! Wow... But I guess, since you're so disappointed in me, and since you don't like me anymore, you're going to unfollow me, wow... But no... Trolls just don't go away. And you go to those trolls Twitter pages, and all you see is that they are chatting up every single girl they are following, and (they're) asking all of them why they reply so slowly. And you also see that the trolls often tweet stuff like : "Boohoohoohoo, I'm such a nice guy, why do they all block me, those nasty *** ?!?! Yeah... Why ? Why would they all block you ? Why ? I have no idea... But I am next (to block you). So, the troll is blocked, problem solved... Yeah... Nope. And a few days later, you've got a new troll, or 5 new trolls... And for some reasons, you really know that it's exactly the same person, with different accounts... And so you're like : (...) Go awaaaaay ! Okay, I may have turned it into a joke here. But that's actually not a joke, and that's pretty annoying ! I call them trolls because I think that's pretty much what they are, you know, (they're) only on the internet to cause mayhem. But they're really cyberbullies. And you block them, but they have the ability to create other accounts, and just go on (bullying people). And on Youtube, you can see lots of videos about girls, usually teenage girls, talking about it, or you know, the videos with the cards (notes). And they're talking about it, and that's pretty much what happened. They met someone online, and they're (saying) "I don't understand, I thought he was a nice guy, I just opened up to him, and then he used everything I told him to bully me, and he put it everywhere on the internet, on Facebook, Twitter, blogs, (and all). (He just put) everything on the internet." And (these girls) feel guilty about that. But, no, that's not your fault ! Those (trolls) are sick people. The bullies, the trolls, they are sick people. That's not your fault, that's their fault ! I think something should be done about it... I don't know, it's been talked about a lot in the news (recently). I think, okay, you were talking about it, now what about doing something about it ?
