We start the day by eating breakfast with the group
then the teacher explains a little vocabulary
about the food if someone doesn't know the vocabulary, about cooking
that type of vocabulary, when we're learning by continually talking
and then you get ready for the activities we are going to do
like go for a hike or to the hot springs
or whatever plan, you are simply with your group
and you are speaking and practicing your English
which is very effective because you are constantly speaking in English
and you are being corrected In a normal day in class
you only have the class time, but here you always practice
and when you are having fun, well, you are learning a lot of English, that's what I believe.
Yes, it's truly different because it is, like, more intense, it's more real life
You're continually learning English
I don't know, if you are doing a bar-b-que and thinking, "How do I say this, how do I say that?"
You don't need a dictionary, you have your teacher right there and she can tell you, "this is like this" and "this is like that"
“You said that wrong”, “You must say it like this..”
so then it's like living and learning in a way that is deeper, more internal
and it's easier to remember
and you can practice it more with your group friends
or in another situation when you remember that word and you say, "well, Andrea taught me that word" and you remember that exact moment
and you remember what you were doing, it's much easier to learn
living it
and you also can see the amazing sights in Canada, obviously,
the landscapes really amaze you
yesterday, for example, we were hiking and it was super cool to see the snow in the mountains
and today we are going to some natural hot springs and
and well, these kind of things make it much more fun and a much better way to learn
