Welcome to FliteTest Argentina, a new episode of this 6th. season.
and today we will talk about the priciples of a 3 channel airplanes
So, do you know Robin what this is?
- Mhm...poly....something? -polyhydro
yeah, this is a kind of winglet allowing when the double ruder
this wing loses lift, this one wins
with the ailerons is totaly different
the ailerons make the wind direction changes, so that when this you can turn...but in this case we want to fly with ruder
so this is what should happen...today we have A LOT of wind
okey....so now we are flying 4 channel...and we are getting helped of the wind
and we are flying just bank and yank and you can see that the turns are more sudden
and now let's fly only with ruder, we will try to make the difference note but we have a lot of wind so I don't know
so now we are flying with no ailerons, just ruder and you can see that the turns are more gentle
and now we are using the ailerons again...just because of safety, we have really a lot of winds
and now we will land
so whats really happening with the air....we want to demostrate
what happens between the ailerons and the drafts
so...what happens is...ehm...could you hold the airplane like that?
so now I'm moving the ailerons...let's say I want to turn to the left
we have to put a bit of elevator input so that the wind turns in the way the aileron does...
so that if we fly with a 3 channel airplane, it makes the turn not so drastic, it makes the turn much smoother
but the wind is in another team todaym the wind is my enemy...right now he is...
but I would say that if you have a 4 channel plane, fly it 4 channel, if you have a 3 channel plane, fly it 3 channel
yes, fly the plane the way he was build to fly
so this was all...remember to check us out in facebook.and also check us in flitetest.com
