The timing of the recent immigration controversy overinflated by liberals and Hollywood is
no coincidence, considering that they are just pawns to Democrats’ plan of distraction
to get people to forget what was just found against them in the IG report released last
week.
Despite the massive outcries about caged immigrant children, that they waited to take issue with
until after Barack Obama (who did this) was out of office, President Trump is forging
on with his immigration policies.
He doesn’t care that people have created fake outrage or that they place false blame
on him for what Obama did.
Making his efforts on the matter better is that he also doesn’t care about celebrities,
their opinions on anything, and definitely does not feel that they are above the law.
He’s enforcing deportation policies and nobody is off limits, including one popular
reality T.V. star who doesn’t get the pass, especially after what he did to Americans.
Not to be deterred by the shameless blackmail from the left, Trump is pressing on and is
now deporting celebrities with an illegal immigrant status sending a clear message that
he is not one to mess with.
New York Daily News reports:
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Joe Giudice is in deportation proceedings as he
remains in federal prison on a 41-month sentence.
A spokesman for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed to the Daily News
that it has lodged a detainer and Giudice is in removal proceedings from the United
States back to his native Italy.
Giudice, 46, is a little over two years into a lengthy prison sentence handed down in 2014
over charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bankruptcy fraud and failure
to file tax return.
He is scheduled to be released in March 2019, but could see himself booted from the country
before his sentence is complete.
Despite ICE confirming that the proceedings are underway to get him deported, Giudice
and his lawyer denied that he’s being deported.
This is likely because his fate hasn’t been officially decided yet and perhaps they’re
hoping to get him out of it.
However, nobody is above the law with Trump in charge.
“I can state with absolute certainty that no decision has been made regarding the immigration
status of Joe Giudice,” James Leonard Jr., Giudice’s attorney, said in a statement
to People according to NYDaily News.
“The same immigration detainer that was lodged against him in March of 2016 remains
in place today, but I want to be absolutely clear about this, no judicial authority has
made any decision regarding what will happen with that detainer.”
“Mr. Giudice has immigration counsel who are and have been working aggressively on
his behalf so that he can return home to his wife and four young daughters and we remain
optimistic that that is how this will end,” Leonard added.
Radar Online has more on ICE’s take on the matter:
Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice Opens a New Window.
, a native of Italy, is “in deportation proceedings while he’s in custody,” the
ICE spokesperson told Radar.
“ICE has lodged a detainer, and he is in removal proceedings.”
Though he isn’t scheduled for release until March 2019, Joe could be kicked out of the
country before he’s completed his sentence.
“If he is ordered deported while in custody, he will be removed from the U.S.,” the spokesperson
continued.
If he is able to complete his sentence, he will immediately be transferred to the care
of ICE instead of returning home to Teresa and their four daughters.
The 46-year-old dad, who is more than two years into his more than three-year sentence
Opens a New Window.
, most recently attended a hearing via Virtual Teleconference on June 20 regarding his imminent
deportation.
As Radar extensively reported, Joe is serving 41 months in prison on fraud charges Opens
a New Window.
. He recently transferred to Allenwood prison in Pennsylvania, where immigration issues
are frequently handled.
Though it was always a possibility, the deportation is a recent development for Joe.
In a September 2017 court filing, he admitted he was under an ICE detainer, but insisted
he was not in removal proceedings.
The reality star found fame through his wife Teresa Giudice who was a prominent person
on Bravo TV’s successful ‘Real Housewives’ series based in several cities and states
across the U.S., this particular one was New Jersey.
According to NY Daily Mail, Joe Giudice “was transferred in November from the Federal Correctional
Institution at Fort Dix, N.J., to a prison in Allenwood, Pa.
The move came because Giudice requested placement in a residential drug and alcohol abuse program,
something Fort Dix denied him because an ICE detainer had been put in place.”
Teresa seems to be well aware that her husband could be booted back to Italy, having not
been shy about that possibility on her show in that she said she was open about moving
to Italy top be with him should that happen.
“I mean, Italy’s a beautiful place to live.
I wouldn’t mind, you know, I’m just saying,” she said.
“Listen, whatever God has planned for me, that’s what’s going to happen.
I will embrace it the best I can,” she said.
This is a better attitude to have about it than one of anger, so we applaud her for that
as well as wanting to keep her family together.
She’s been through a lot with these charges and seems to have come to a place of acceptance
of the ramifications of personal decisions, which is a lot more than can be said for many
in Hollywood.
