This is an apple but for Lassonde it's also been an incredible source of inspiration.
The story begins in nineteen eighteen when Aristide Lassonde and his wife
Georgianna Darcy
started a vegetable cannery in Rougemont, founding the company
that would become Lassonde. Through sheer tenacity
and despite the recession of the 1930s and the second world war
the company prospered and soon acquired the best industrial equipment of the time.
Willie Lassonde took over from his father in 1944
and at the end of the 1950s decided to produce
apple juice. This would give the company a new vocation
and change its destiny. With apple juice
came to taste for success and was the impetus for the entrepreneurial spirit
that defines Lassonde to this day.
It is that spirit that has made Lassonde a major food manufacturer in North
America
with over 2,000 employees 14 processing plants and four Canadian provinces and
six American states
and with more than a billion dollars in revenues. You see fruits and vegetables,
we see an infinite source of innovation. Because Lassonde's four subsidiaries
are constantly on top of the latest food trands.
A. Lassonde develops, manufactures and markets fruit juices and drinks that by
their quality and variety

long and fruitful history with the apple, Arista Wines is proud to produce
artisanal ciders

And in our quest to constantly develop new products,
we've created a line of Irish-Pub style ciders,

In 2011
