Benjamin King Interview - Liv and maddie - Disney channel

Interviewer: Now Liv and Maddie tell me about it what is the show all about? Benjamin King: So Liv and Maddie, identical twins one of them Liv was in Hollywood making a TV show. She comes back, her show is over and Maddie is a basketball star, real popular and it is how they gel it is how the family sort of revolves around them and each other. I play Pete. I am the basketball coach and the father and it's a lot of laughs, a lot of fun really a lot of fun. Interviewer: So it is cool the fact that your character is actually at the same school as these daughters? Benjamin King: Yeah it is because it gives us the chance to not only be the parents at home but to go in to the school and see what is going on and participate. It is a lot of fun. Interviewer: And embarrass the children. Benjamin King: And embarrass the kids Interviewer: That's what yeah that is what it is all about? Benjamin King: That's what parents are here for. Interviewer: Now what was what shenanigans can we expect in the upcoming episode of Liv and Maddie. Benjamin King: Little explosions a lot of messiness, people falling down all sorts of cool equipment and gags and great guest stars. Interviewer: How was it working with Dove who's like these two separate characters? Benjamin King: Dove Cameron is seriously talented and it is kind of one of those things where we are watching her saying oh my goodness this girl's got it all she really does and she is super friendly and cool and she's got a lot of work to do and she knows it and it is just wonderful to watch a you know, brilliant performance, brilliant performances from her. Interviewer: Now D23, how was that been so far for you? Benjamin King: So this is my first time at D23 and I mean I am having a blast there's all sorts of fun things going on. I haven't really seen much because we have been working not working but saying hello and signing autographs and having good time but well I am looking forward to checking it all out. Interviewer: So 5.8 million viewers on the first episode. What is your message for those you know remaining viewers who couldn't make it here at D23? Benjamin King: So check it out if you know fan, parents, kids, all watch together it is just a ton of fun. Ton of fun.
