Expandable 300W Amplifier
The power of this amplifier can be extended up to 1500 watts
with just putting more transistors and increase the supply voltage.
Your card also known as boster driver scalable,
is highly stable,
excellent performance
and is designed to support up to 32 transistors in parallel,
thus achieving very high power
and very low impedance operation.
The connections between the drive,
the power supply and transistors,
connections are simple but carefully.
They must use heavy gauge wires that withstand high currents.
Remember to be very organized in the wiring
to succeed in this great project.
The correct form to connect the power transistors
is as follows:
The base of each transistor should wear protective resistor.
Each emitter has its respective bias resistor.
Then
bind together all resistors the emitters,
and bases resistors
The collectors are also connected together with thickness wire.
The transistors are connected to the card drive,
as shown in the PDF file
that you can download from our website
construyasuvideorockola.com.
The transformer for this amplifier
must be built with a capacity of at 20% more
than we want to power give the amplifier.
You should give a current of at least 1.4 amps
per output transistor.
The power supply rectifier must have a good filter.
If the amplifier has over 10 transistors,
it is recommended to place at least six capacitors 4700 microfarads.
And if are over 24 transistors,
it is recommended to be capacitors 10,000 microfarads.
Measurements
After assembling and thoroughly review the circuit,
measurements must be made relevant.
The first time you connect any amplifier,
as protection is done using a series
with a 100W incandescent bulb.
So,
if there is ever a problem,
the bulb lights up and does not burn the amplifier.
Place the multimeter in DC voltage scale.
With the black tip in ground,
and the tip red lead on the capsules of driving transistors,
we measure the positive voltage and negative voltage.
Must be symmetrical.
It is also important to measure the BIAS,
as we have explained in previous videos.
In the speaker output will not make any voltage.
Otherwise check the printed circuit,
all connections and measure each component independently.
Now hear the sound live.
Howdy friends!
Introducing the sound of a 300W amplifier,
potentially expandable up to 1500W.
This mono amplifier
includes an expandable booster card or driver,
which turns
10 transistors are placed in these heatsinks.
Each pair of transistors delivers a power of 60W,
as they are 2N3055 transistors.
If you want more power,
transistors can be placed
or put more transistors in parallel,
to achieve the desired power.
We will use an mp3 player
and our regulated power supply variable,
to send an audio signal to our amplifier.
The load that can work with this amp is 2 ohms.
This means that you can place in parallel four 15-inch speakers
at 8 ohms
and a power of 500W MAX.
And listening very well.
Let's hear the sound test.
Remember that the camera can not capture the true power of an amp like this.
I recommend it!
You will find it on their website

I hope to be of much use
Later we will publish
how make these speaker cabinets have just seen.
Successes and Greetings to all
