I'm really glad you feel fine, and no one wants
to start you on dialysis before you need it.
However, it takes time to prepare for dialysis.
Most people don't really feel sick
until just shortly before they start dialysis.
A fistula takes several months to heal before it can be used.
So, if the fistula is going to be ready
when you're ready for dialysis, we need to do something
several months before you need dialysis.
And it's likely that you'll be feeling okay at that time.
