Hey folks Keith Luscher here with another Prospect & Flourish Every Day moment. Continuing
on the Know, Like & Trust factor--Likability. That's obviously very important. Why will
people do business with you? Because they know, like and trust you.
Likability is important, although the caveat have to put here for now is what I tell my
kids, there's more important things than being liked. Being liked is not so important that
you should do something that is wrong just to be liked. Okay? So, I have to put that
out there.
At the same time, this is something we talk about in Prospect & Flourish--how to be likable--and
how to get people to like you. In this context, it is very much about doing the right things.
There are four steps that I'm going to go through in the next couple of spots.
The first one is to be punctual. How to be likable? First step to being likable is make
sure you are always on time. When you say you are going to be at a certain place at
a certain time, do it. Follow up accordingly. Always be punctual. Always be on time. And
if you're not gonna be on time, if you are running behind, you know that happens to all
of us, and we all have mobile phones now. You know you dial the person you are connecting
with and let them know that you are going to be a little bit late.
So the first step to being likable is to always be punctual. In the know like and trust factor,
