When you do a reset, it returns your phone to its original factory settings and erases
all your personal data.
So beforehand, be sure to back up important things you might want to keep like contacts,
music and pictures.
You can find out how to do that by clicking the link here.
Then you can go ahead with the reset. Here’s how.
First, go to your home screen, scroll to SETTINGS and tap GENERAL.
Here you’ll see a RESET option. Tap that, then select ERASE ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS.
Now, confirm the reset.
You might be prompted to enter your passcode.
Either way, you’ll get the chance to confirm your decision to reset to finish things up.
This is also a good opportunity to say your final goodbyes to all your old settings. I…I…hate
goodbyes.
And there you have it, one lean and clean phone.
Here’s your handy recap.
1. Select SETTINGS then GENERAL
2. Tap RESET then ERASE ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS 3. Enter your password if required and confirm
