Doing a Draft in Madden 08 - How to do a fantasy draft in madden 08 - Rounds 21, 22, & 23

Hey this is Phil Coonrod on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about Madden 08. I also need a kicker and a punter, so let's see what we have available for kickers, here in round 21. Oh I still got plenty of kickers left, so I'm not even going to mess around with a kicker right now. Let's go back to see what we don't have, because we're getting to the point where we got almost all of our positions filled up. Don't have a kicker or punter; that's fine. We've got our quarterback, got a couple halfbacks. We need a fullback, and we need a guard, a left guard, and a d-end. So let's look at our d-ends. Pretty slim pickings here in the d-ends so far. We're going to go with a young guy again. Always go with young. Travis Leboy is going to be our d-end. We need a guard. We're here in round 22 already. We're just going to fill in our needs at that point. We need a guard. Here he is right here. That's actually pretty good, 84 is not bad. And he's cheap, so that's even better. Stocker McDougal. Multiple time Pro Bowler. We're going to go ahead and draft him, and then we needed a fullback just to round out all our starters. Then once we get our fullback we'll have all our starters. So I run a lot of single back, so fullbacks really not that important to me, personally, but in those goal line situations you want to have someone that can lead the way. So let's look at strength. This guy is strong as an ox, and he's pretty young, so I always take youth. Not only can they develop and become good, but they're a lot better trade value than older guys, if I end up wanting to trade somebody. So that's why I always go with youth.
