Look out, it's dangerous there! 今俺は2009年のTokyo Auto Salonに来ています 色々見る物があるよ～ 特に車の隣でポージングしている人々・・・かな やっぱりこのイベントは凄いよ 本当に面白い物がいっぱいある 今から俺があっちこっち紹介して行きます！ So this is Saito san from the PR department of Tokyo Auto Salon Yes, nice to meet you Would you mind just explaining for us a bit about what Tokyo Auto Salon is all about? Sure! Tokyo Auto Salon is held in January every year It is Japan's biggest biggest custom car event It has been held every year since 1983 So this is the 27th Tokyo Auto Salon event And it's held every year at the Tokyo Expo building in Makuhari Messe? That's right - in the beginning we were in another location but now it uses Makuhari Messe every year And has it grown a lot? Yes, it keeps getting bigger and bigger From this year, we have also introduced a new pavilion for the "Tokyo Import Salon" That pavilion is especially for foreign and imported cars where you can see them all together in one place So now we run that at the same time parallel to Tokyo Auto Salon You mean in a separate location? Nono, in the same place, just a different pavilion Ah, so it is one of the pavilions here is dedicated to that purpose? That's right, this is the first year we are running that There seem to be lots of different genres of customizing - race customizing, engine modification, and so on. What kind of categories are there on show? Right, well, there is certainly the "racing customization" kind of customizing Then there is also "tuning customization" for people looking at modifying engines and so on There are all kinds of other kinds of customization that are done as well that we have on show here All of those different forms are seen as a whole as customizing Wow, I came here quite early this morning and now it is evening and have been moving around all day But there is almost too much to see in just one day. Thanks so much If you're seriously into drifting, the Nissan Silvia is probably the main car that you think about first 車のカスタムに関して、やっぱり重要なのは目立つ事なんでしょう やっぱり独特なペイント・形で他の車よりも目立つようにしたいって事なんでしょうね 今見つけた車が、もしかしたら歴史上最高に目立つカスタムカーになるかも・・・！？ すっげぇ、マフラーでもこうで、エンジンをかけて勿体ないぐらいだね 本当にあきれるくらいね、すごい！ さて、一日の終わりになりました いつもこの音楽で分かるよね・・・ 本当に面白い一日となりました やっぱり日本人は車のカスタムに関して、本当に真剣だよね 日本では一般の車が結構値段が安いから 給料のほぼすべてを車のカスタムにかける人も結構います 今日、このイベントを見て、それがよくわかるよ～ 本当に普通の車をすごい風にカスタマイズして、変身させています ここでそのカスタムにかけた努力を見せ付けている人もたくさんいて それを支えている、カスタム専用会社の展示もあるし、その経済の規模にビックリします だから車のカスタムに本当に真剣だったら、やっぱり日本に訪ねるべきでしょう 今日色々みましたね ドリフティングとか、美人のコンパニオンもいっぱい見たけど やっぱり、最終的に重要なのは車そのものなんでしょう そして美人のコンパニオン♪ まぁ、いいんじゃない？ 楽しい一日でした。いかがだったでしょうか？ では、またね！ PEACE!
