Welcome back to the Epic 2 LP.
First, we deal with this *** revenant.
Yes, he spawns right behind you at the beginning.
First we go down this first corridor...
...then flip this switch to open the first door, and kill the hell knights.
First secret : Secret switch/passage.
Looks like I accidentally woke the imps and hell knight here.
I'll deal with them later.
Secret #2 : Passageway to Berserk.
This takes us back to the beginning.
Anyways, moving on.
Softening him up for the fist finisher.
That honestly surprised me.
I also accidentally woke this mancubus up.
Third secret : Use the engraved stone slab, shoot the hidden switch, access the ammo cache.
Yeah that was a bit of a fumble there.
Now to go along the side corridor, and kill everything I might miss.
Here, I fumble around for a switch.
Found it! It lowers a double shotgun...
...and a caco surprise.
Damn, he managed to get a bite in.
One more room to go before we continue.
With that out of the way, we return to the corridors of death. You'll soon see why I call it that.
It's not what's in the corridors that is dangerous...
...it's the archvile that will spawn in the connecting room.
This revenant was a pain though.
These cells are quite imp-practical.
This small space here is the only way to avoid getting blasted by the archvile.
If you miss it, you will get hit.
By the way, these imps teleport out of their cells.
Can't quite get those imps yet.
Damn, accidentally woke the revenant up.
Picking up that rocket launcher will trigger the archvile spawn.
That was an expensive miss.
He also rezzed the revenant right before dying.
Mowing that revenant down was surprisingly simple.
Now to make sure everything in the area is cleared.
With that done, we look for a switch to the 4th secret : Chainsaw.
There it is! This secret was the hardest to discover...
...and is probably the only way in this megawad to get the chainsaw.
With that done, we pick up the yellow skull and move on.
That was the sound of revenants teleporting in.
Winding corridors, a revenant's greatest weakness!
Phew, time to make our way back to the yellow door.
That was a splendid shot!
Here, I decided to trigegr the pain elemental and wake the zombies up.
Evading the lost souls will force them into the room and cause some infighting.
Next, I wake the imps up, and press that switch, which will spawn some mancubi.
The infights will distract them, while I finish them off with rocket spam.
Somehow, that imp survived.
Not for long!
Taking care of that last mancubus.
Woah, lag!
Fifth secret : Soul sphere.
This corridor seems familliar.
Moving on, revenant room.
I forgot about these two revenants.
This button opens up the wall connecting to the side corridor...
...and the room containing the sixth secret.
Secret number 6 : Mega armor
Fumbling around for the final secret here.
Found it! The computer map!
Time for the final area, starting with a surprise revenant.
This is where lots of enemies spawn in.
Gibbing as much of them as possible with a rocket launcher is recommended.
This switch lowers a lift, leading to a switch that opens the exit room.
Pressing that will also trigger two arch vile spawns.
I used too many rockets in that volley.
That switch raises a switch that opens the exit. Seems unnecessarily convoluted.
