Behind be the lastest limited series
of the Megane RS,
cosigned with Red Bull team
as it symbolizes the third titled gleaned
by Red Bull and by Renault through its engine.
What is particularly remarkable from the outside is obviously
the unique limited series color. It is a night blue,
a twilight blue which really looks alike the Formula 1 single seaters.
For the rest, outside and inside, it is a regular Megane RS.
and we meet again the 2 liter 4 cylinders turbo which easily pops out its 265 hp,
helped by the 6 speeds Renault Sport gearbox... Well, you got it, we are in a known universe,
it really is a Megane RS : Recaro seats we already saw...
but know Red Bull branded and definitely excellent,
a specific ***...
You also get the panoramic roof and a little bandeau on the door sill
where the number of the limited series is indicated.
and here we have the 002.
Renault introduces through this version the R-Link, the system you can find on every Clio.
This really is a revolution as the old Megane RS system,
let's say it, was serious sh*t.
But where in the Clio RS, the touch screen was within easy reach,
here in the Megane RS, you have to hmhmmm pffffiii there.
You could think the Megane RS will be quite a hard car to drive in everyday driving, in the traffic jams or else.
At last it isn't as the clutch, which is quite accurate with a narrow adhesion range,
is balanced by a soft clutch pedal so you can easily dose clutch and throttle.
Good compromise regarding the gearbox and the throttle.
The car comes with a Cup chassis on that version so it taps a little in the back when the road is bumpy
or with degraded surfaces
but it isn't a car which will pack your lumbars.
The Recaro are really naked but comfy and with a good body retention.
When driving sporly, well I guess there is no need to present you the Megane RS.
We all know it has the Nürb track record for traction cars.
You can feel it when teasing the car with a rear axle that moves extremely well.
It is communicative, not tricky at all.
The front axle accepts the torque and the power from the first to the sixth gear.
The only thing is you easily reach the engine switch at it is quite low in the rpm.
