Making a Custom Lamp Shade - Cutting the fabric for a custom lamp shade

Hello my name is Denise Roberson and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to show you how
to customize a lamp shade. We have our fabric folded in half and we have our pattern folded
in half which the fold is placed on the fold of the fabric. Pinned in 3 section to hold
it on place to the fabric here. I'm going to take these pair of scissors this time and
cut my pattern here. I'm just going to run along the side, the edges here to get a clean
cut along the pattern. You would continue on to go up the pattern, around, and around
the back side. Now you don't have to cut on the fold because that would be the length
of your pattern.
