Private Banking Assistant - Fabien at coutts in Switzerland

I think being a Private Banking Assistant you need to just understand what the banker wants and what the client wants and how the back office works. My personal skills were really empathy for the people and really getting to know where and how I could deal with them. The clients are coming from a very wide range of backgrounds so really you have to get how they work and how they like you to work. In Switzerland we do have everything, it's like mountains, lakes. Water is something which is always appealing because you just look at it for hours, it just calms you down. Once you step out of the boat you do feel another man ready to go for another week. Coutts has something really different from any other banks, the team spirit is fantastic. The senior people are really helping to to push us in the best manner. I’ve been supported because the team sees that I do have the skill, I will have the skills. My goal is to become a private banker one day. Within Coutts bank I never felt there was a fence or a barrier to achieve what you would to be or to follow as a career path and that’s something which is quite fantastic.
