...I did quite well in school but in maths I get all frozen up and I find times tables really difficult some times... ... Being in set 1, but at the bottom end so I needed a little bit more help So I didn't get left behind in class or... ...I was really not confident about this exam I was going to have in year 10, and when we had the mark and I had a low grade, it was kind of a big reality check and it was really scary... ...I found [maths very difficult] because I'm dyslexic... ...I initially decided to look into getting maths tutoring as I was failing miserably in the maths segment of my degree course. I actually got 10% in my mock exam... ...I got maths tuition because I got a C in my mock maths exam and I felt like I needed the extra help to get my A target grade... ...I needed help with maths... ...I just need a bit of help and confidence... ... It is not like any other maths I've had before because it is just so much more fun just completely different and still you learn a lot more I'd say... ...The exam coaching was just helping me see what my weaknesses were so I could focus on them more than other things and build my confidence with those... ...Most of the topics we were doing in school lessons I'd already covered with Maths Doctor. I just felt as though I could keep up easily, teach other people in my class what to do and stuff ... so it made me feel quite good as well... ...If i ever get stuck with my homework I can just go online and ask my tutor for help. It is not cheating because I get to ask questions and get help, instead of just copying what the computer says... ...Since I got a much better grade in my exams some of my friends actually ask me for help, which is kind of turning the tables, it's really good... ...The tuition worked out very very well for me. I went from an E to and E again but then I got an A. And now Maths Doctor is teaching my younger brother with his GCSE... ...I was working around a D/C kind of grade and I went straight upto a B and then maybe if I'm really good I'll get an A eventually... ...I got 86% in my final exam in Mathematics for Economists And so far I haven't seen anyone who has come close to me... ...Getting my 7 in the end was definitely worth it... ...Finally I came to Maths Doctor and... I passed my maths! Haha!
