Budget - Ngai taraawhai benefits from early childhood assistance

The government has allocated $9.3mil to early childhood education
in communities of high need area's identified as having the greatest,
as many families do not access quality early childhood education.
The Ngati Taraawhai board are happy they will receive
early childhood assistance from this year's budget.
The Education Minister has announced that nearly 700 more children
in high need communities of will have access
to quality early childhood education under the fund.
Ngati Taraawhai Trustees
are currently looking for a suitable site for their new school.
Plans are yet to be set in stone,
but they are looking between Ngapuna, Owhata
or near the Rotorua Airport.
Applications for 2013/14 for the fund are expected to open in August.
