Insights into Rosh Hashanah, with Michael Berg.
How do you prepare for Rosh Hashanah?
As we know, we're really preparing our year
so, of course, you think about yourself, physically, spiritually.
You think about your children.
You think about your family.
You think about your friends.
And, one of the things which is important, I think,
I know I try to do every Rosh Hashanah, but I think probably for all of us,
is to find one or two or three people who we know
really need a change in that year.
Really need healing in that year.
Really need assistance in that year.
And throughout the prayers
to think about them as well.
And by doing so, of course we
create a much greater connection for us.
But on the one hand
you want to concentrate as much as you can,
but on the other hand, you also know it's not only up to you.
And being there in the group and thinking of others
is what really can create
the best year for every one of us.
