Hi! I am Shelly Cordsen from Expert Village.com. Today, we are stamping open stamps. That means
it is stamped with a lot of white space you have got to fill in and there are so many
methods to color a stamp and I am going to show you several. The first one I am showing
you is with markers. You can get any markers, most of them double-pointed, you will have
a thick end to color wide spaces and you will have a thin end which you can also use for
writing in small. Be sure to read the sides, some will say pigment ink or acid free and
that’s what you need is acid free. It just makes it, where it preserves it a long time.
Pigment means it will stay permanent and a pigment ink is definitely what you need when
you write on fabric and you will just take your markers and start filling in and color
it at end. This is a wonderful, wonderful project to get your kids started and interested
in making cards for family members. Just find them a stamp, let them stamp and start coloring
away and you will be complete.
