Adapted Rafting - 6

Interviewer: I'm ____ from the City of Reno and you are? Interviewee: Scott Youngs Interviewer: So what was the experience like? Interviewee: It was great! I had a professional kayaker there to paddle with me and tell me all the strokes and read the river and stuff. So, it was a great time. I'm happy that I had the chance to do it. Interviewer: Had you done this before? Interviewee: First time in the whitewater with a kayak. So... Interviewer: Wow. Had you been practicing in a pool? Interviewee: No. Interviewer: I'm amazed. I'm impressed. So what did you think of the ride down the river. Interviewee: It was flowing pretty good actually. I had got into some stuff and had some fun there were times that we kinda relaxed and we did some soft paddling. So, it was a good time. Interviewer: Do you see this as a sport you could get into? Interviewee: I don't know. I'm kind of an aging wheelchair athlete, so I'm not sure if it's something I'd want to get into right now. So..but it's fun though. It's fun as recreation too. Interviewer: What do you think of this ramp? Interviewee: The ramp's good. The ramp's good. Yup! Interviewer: Great. Thank you very much! Interviewee: Thanks!
