My practice is Whole Family Health at Belmar out in Lakewood Colorado We originally started the practice with HealthONE so that we could really start a practice that was in line with our Personal values and beliefs I'm both myself and Dr. Nguyen believe in practicing full spectrum family medicine at our practice it take care women that are pregnant and help them through their birth and their delivery and we can take care of children and and practice pediatrics we follow children to their teen and we help with adults and then adult medicine as well including elderly and grandparents thinking our practice we offer something really unique here because we like to spend time with patients to really go into each individual problem it's bothering them I like to look at it from a holistic perspective to say how was this problem affecting your day-to-day life how was it affecting your personal life your family life for stress levels and how can we use all those things to help you heal I'm from you know the ground up my approach to patients patient is a little bit different because I am a doctor of osteopathy on as an osteopath we're trained in a philosophy of medicine the first tenant is that the body is the unit a body mind and spirit and that's fundamental to the belief of osteopathy and we believe that the body is always working towards self-maintenance health and healing so in osteopathy we use medications and sometimes she is other things alternative medications supplements or even hands-on manipulation called osteopathic manipulation to help with the body healing itself you know there are times many medications and interventions and other times that we can do things to help support the person's natural ability to heal now as an osteopath I apply that almost every patient interaction for fun I really enjoy getting outside with my family being from Lake Tahoe I enjoy be in the mountains I love rock climbing hiking backpacking and just generally being outside
