Before the lashing of the typhoon, the Mayor actually warned us to evacuate.
It's a good thing that we heeded his advice. We were able to save some of our things.
But the rest of it, they were all washed away by the flood that we weren't able to retrieve any of them.
A lot of typhoons had already passed and yet this house wasn't damaged, until now.
