because she's such a well-known fashion icon. When I first start sketching I tend to think of
the overall theme. I don't really think of just one element. The mood tends to always be fashionable,
stylish, and fun. You know the minute I'm putting a pencil down on paper, I'm sort of thinking what would
be going through her mind if she was going to be wearing a pajama
and in pottery barn chic, how would she look? And kind of take that theme or mood and then put it down on paper.
The PBK line reflects Barbie's style because I think it's the best of the best. This is a
great example with pottery barn because I think everybody knows Pottery Barn, you hear the brand name and you think immediately
of amazing quality,
and something that you can find anywhere else.
You know kids who play with barbie they really project their own sort of dreams and fantasies
and aspirations onto the doll.
And that's probably why she's been so successful all these years. What girls and moms will love about
this line is that it brings everyone's love of Barbie and all things sort of fabulous and
fashionable and fun
into the perfect bedrrom suite, I mean what better way to decorate one of the most important
rooms of your house, and it's very personal especially to girls,
and I think this is just perfect, it's such a natural.
