[John:] With the fire programs; you're learning everything you need to know.
[Caleb:] You will be able to get everything you need to become a full-time firefighter.
It'll give you everything and more.
You know, I can get on a department and say 'Yeah, I've done that'.
[John:] All of the instructors had work experience; they were from the field
and knew exactly what they were talking about.
[Caleb:] I really liked the hands on stuff.
I think once you get outside and get your hand on a hose,
get on a truck, you're learning something.
On real fun days we'll actually go out to a burn tower and start a fire
and you know get the real hands on.
You never know what you're going to go to work to do.
[John:] We get to do all kinds of things, stuff you learn after you get hired.
You've got to be willing to learn because every day you're learning something new.
