Hey lovely people, it's been quite a
while hasn't it? So as the title says I
just want to have some chat about some
things old and some things new, so let's
talk about it! A while ago i decided that
i need to bite the bullet and find the way
to put my music on sale. i decided to go
through some of my oldest videos and
OH GOD... They are so horrible! And this thing
that has like 300,000 views, it's so
cringy and the audio is so badly mixed, oh
my god... But also surprisingly some of
them actually stood their ground... like
Morrowind cover for example. I mean it's one
of my earliest works and I wouldn't
change a single thing about it. So then
I thought, what can I do about it?
Do i just upload them like that in that
crappy state or do I rerecord everything
and make them all anew?
I mean since then I got better recording
gear, better software, I learned how to use it
properly...
What do guys think? Because right now i'm
in favor of at least giving them a little
facelift like remix or remaster.
And some of them like the Doctor Who
really deserve a redo.
also what do you guys think about the
music selling idea? Because I decided to
go with Loudr as my music selling
platform because they really have a
great policy about copyrights and they
solve all the issues for me even though
it costs some additional money. So if you
want to support me which songs would you
like to see for sale?
oh and there's also something new
something I have never thought would happen.
I had a breakthrough in music writing!
I don't even know why, I just realized one
day that I have little bits of melodies
floating in my mind, especially before I
fall asleep. So I started recording them
on my phone and then came a weekend when
I wrote two songs in one day.
So then I sat down and did a little counting.
Turns out I have nine songs that are
completely my own and also if I throw in
some traditionals and some Irish folk, I
have a complete album. So therefore
I'm officially announcing that I'm making my
own album! There we go! \o/
Sadly that also means no covers in the
meantime... Sorry. Please stay with me!
At the moment I actually have quite a lot of
free time on my hands so if I really
commit towards this I think I should
have it done at some point next year, maybe
in fall. Right now my album plans look
like this. You see some songs that you
already know from my channel but they
will surely get a facelift and maybe
some new additional tracks or better
arrangement. And then there are songs that
are completely new. Two of them are in
Slovak, some are in English and some
are just purely instrumental. Here is a
sneak peek for song number five!
Right now my plans are that I will make
it for sale as a digital release and
also as a physical CD I don't know how
yet, I don't even know if anyone will be
willing to buy it,
I don't know anything, I just know that
it's been such a dream of mine to make
my own album, my own music that people
will listen to and somehow it will make
other people's lives just a little bit
better. So that's it for the news
