Tell us about this new experience at the professional team,
making new friends, in a new environment.
We are settled down,
the professionals have welcomed us in such a good manner.
We're able to become professional players along with our teammates,
with whom we have won an Academy title with us,
and to deal with people that we already know is much easier.
It makes our friendship even stronger.
Do you think this chance given by Muricy
may turn you into even more confident players?
Certainly. We are young,
and the most experienced players are always trying to help,
trying to make us feel more comfortable.
Concerning this new chance, we'll work hard,
always trying to give our best.
How important is it to carefully put these new players in action,
during the State Championship,
which is a competition that provides what they actually need to play?
I think we've been working here for two years now,
and we've promoted approximately fifteen players.
We have to be patient, we're really experienced professionals,
and sometimes we pay attention to those who succeed only,
forgetting those who are left behind.
Those are not even noticed, they are completely forgotten,
not even their names are remembered.
We need to focus on the right moment to promote them,
it must be done in the exact moment,
we can't promote all of them at once.
We suffered a bit during the last National League,
many players were promoted simultaneously,
and we weren't able to handle it, which is natural.
But we're experienced,
and we're really glad to have so many players to promote.
Last year, for instance, when we played Linense,
9 out of 11 of our players were developed here,
which is important.
How does this methodology that mixes youth and professional players work,
being responsible for promoting so many players to the main team?
We've been working on it for some time now,
both the U-17 and U-20
practice with the professionals almost weekly,
what makes possible for our coach to actually observe those players.
We may mention Victor Andrade as a practical example,
he did well and was promoted from the U-17,
there's Gabriel too.
Joãozinho is responsible for coordinating our U-20 team,
Ricardo coordinates our U-17 and U-15 teams,
and they are always present at the practices,
giving us information on the athletes,
where they come from, what's their behavior,
a full assessment on every single aspect,
technical, physical and behavioral,
that help us promoting all those great players.
And as I say, we're always developing new stars.
