Being a surfer means a variety of things to many people.
But for most, being a surfer and riding waves like

you get visibility underwater, so all those, uh, mysteries

I'm learning to, you know, feel comfortable
in those situations and it's crazy, you know,

and I got pushed back down, and I was down there
for two waves, but it didn't really faze me that much, and--
But I realized then that you don't sit inside

is tense up or panic, and burn through your oxygen.
What I try and do, is just go, "Oh, well.
This isn't gonna be real good for the next 30 seconds or so."
