I've seen the work you've put in to get to this point. Working your Monday to Friday
9-5, then going straight to the gym after work spending time away from your loved ones.
You do this out of passion, out of love for the sport and culture. You lose sleep over
this. You do this to push yourself physically and mentally, you want to take all your skills
and showcase what you've learned to your coaches and peers.
This is your moment, you've starved yourself, you've suffered, you've hustled, and grinded
to prepare yourself for the ultimate test. You want your spot in sun, to have your hand
raised as the victor looking down on the defeated. Regardless, if you win or lose you want to
go out there knowing that you left it all in the ring, and that you gave your opponent
everything you had. This will be the fastest moment of your life, it will come and go like
a blur and it'll be as if you were dreaming. But it'll forever be immortalized in the hearts
and minds of
the fans.
What you do takes a lot of courage, physical strength, and heart. The sacrafices you've
made deserves to be recognized and I take great pride in honoring you with an introduction
worthy of champions. It doesn't matter to me if you're an amatuer or pro, if it's an
event at the Martime Labour Centre or Rogers Arena. I introduce every fighter, on every
card the same. I treat each event as if it was a big main event at Madison Square Garden.
Just like you when you put your heart and soul into the fight, I put my heart and soul
into introducing you.
I'm passionate about Martial Arts culture and Combat Sports. I'm not just a guy that
wears a suit and talks. I'm a fan and long time practioner myself and it's a privilege
to give you an introduction that YOU deserve. My name is Ryan Ventura, your ring announcer,
and voice of champions.
