Hi, I'm Jane from BlenditandMendit.com. Welcome. Today is day 18 of the 21 Day Avocado Smoothie
Power Plan that I'm doing, the book by Dr. Arial Policano and Lori Clayton,
a raw food chef. I've chosen the Sunflower Fennel Joy Smoothie
from page 21. It calls for 2 cups of water... 1/4 cup of fennel....
1/2 cup of sunflower sprouts, which I could not find so I subbed alfalfa sprouts.
1/4 cup cilantro. 1 small apple... 1/4 avocado... and 2 TBS of lemon juice.
Something funny happened on the way to the 21 Day Avocado Smoothie Power Plan - I'm not
tired of avocados. As usual, it looks amazing. Now I want to
taste it.
Wow, I can taste the sprouts. It's more like a juice than a smoothie, it's not thick.
Very light, it's like a light fennel-lemon flavor. Not very sweet. One of those refreshing,
cleasning type smoothies. This is a food and a drink. It's very thirst
quenching.
