Hey, what's going on? Everybody out there,
you're watching Computer TV, and I'm your host, Sam.
And today, I have for you the Olympus, this is the FE25,
very basic, it's for you beginners out there, 'point & shoot' camera.
Now, are you wondering what 'FE' stands for?
Well, I'm gonna tell you. It stands for 'fashionable' and 'elegant'.
And that is exactly what this camera is.
Or, as I like to call it, it's the 'Little Black Dress' of digital cameras, OK?
You take it with you everywhere you go,very easy to use,
you can just throw it in your bag last minute,
and take it to an event, or a party, or whatever you're going to,
this camera will not do you wrong, OK?
First of all, let me tell you a little bit more about this camera.
It's a 10 megapixel camera, you have a 3x optical zoom,
a 4x digital zoom, you have 19MB of internal storage,
which, as you probably know, is not that much,
so you wanna get a Micro SD Card, or an xD Card,
so you can have all the storage you need.
I'm gonna turn it over, you'll see you have a 2.4" LCD screen,
and you know what? You have 16 different shooting modes, OK?
Including Movie Mode, and with Movie Mode you can take movies,
with a 640x480 resolution, so that's a great quality.
Now, this thing takes AA batteries, not rechargeables, two AA batteries,
and other cool features include Advanced Face Detection.
You also have ISO 1600, so if you're shooting in low light,
you won't have to worry about your images,
and you know they're gonna come out good with ISO 1600.
And, last but not least, you have Panorama on here,
so, if you're going on a trip this summer, and you wanna make sure
that your friends really understand the cool places that you've been,
definitely check out Panorama Mode, OK?
So, now, I'm going to take you into this camera,
and show you exactly why it is so cool, OK?
Moving down below, you have your Playback, and you have your Mode Selection button,
so this is how you get from Program Mode to Manual Mode,
and we'll show you all that in a second.
Alright, around this square right here you have your flash,
your timer, your exposure up top, and your Macro Mode,
and you OK Function button in the middle.
You have your Display and your Trash right here,
and your Menu. Now, if you look up top, you see your On and your Off button,
and right here this is your Shutter Release, OK?
And, if you turn it over, and you open up this door, right here,
you have your two AA batteries, and this is where your xD,
or your Micro SD Card goes, OK? So, let's close her up.
And, we're gonna power back on, like so, there we go.
So, we're in Program Mode right now.
Now, to change all the settings in Program Mode, so easy,
just hit OK Function, and up comes
your White Balance, your other lighting options,
you can scroll along and see them,
ooh, that's a fun little mode...
Alright, let's go back into Auto.
Your ISO, again, ISO 1600 on here,
and then you have your Image Size,
and your Quality, OK?
So, let's get out of here. To go to a different mode,
you just hit this Camera button right here,
and your I Auto Mode, very easy.
If you don't wanna think too much about the settings,
you just want the camera to pick the best optimal settings for you,
get into I Auto Mode.
Again, the mode Selection button, and here you are, in Image Stabilization.
So, basically, the camera, when you're in this mode,
the camera is going to compensate for even the tiniest shake, and,
your images will not come out blurry.
OK, let's go to a different mode, Scene Mode.
You have all your basic Scene Modes on here,
everything from Cuisine, to Documents, Portraits,
you have all the standard ones on here,
Sports, Indoor, Candle Lighting, ooh, how romantic... OK, so,
that is Scene Mode. Again, let's go see what else we have.
Movie Mode. Movie Mode is awesome, if your camera doesn't have Movie Mode on it,
I feel bad for you, it's time to get a new one,
and you may wanna check this Olympus out...
So, when you're in Movie Mode, again, you just hit Function,
and up pops all your settings, you can change from QVGA, to VGA,
30 frames for second, or 15, and you also have your Lighting up top as well.
OK, so once you've taken all your shots,
you just go into Playback, and you can see your pictures,
this is a picture of a nail polish bottle, that I took earlier,
don't ask me why I have nail polish on my desk, very random...
But, when you're in here, you just hit Menu,
and scroll up to the scissors, and you have some editing features,
you can resize, you can also rotate, and you don't have to hook up to a PC,
and that's what's so great about this camera,
you can do all of it right here, and you don't have to worry.
Upload it, directly. There we go.
Let's change the size, OK, cool.
So, really, that's it, this is the Olympus,
this is the FE25, it's really lightweight,
you got a very simple, nice design, and it's fashionable,
so, really, what more could you ask for?
I don't know...
