Hi, How are you doing?
Justin here.
In this little video,
we're gonna be checking out
your "One Minute Changes" for stage eight.
Now, at this point
It's really up to you to be working on what Chords you think are the hardest
and going through and working on them
By picking the hardest ones
you're gonna improve your technique
which is what, at this level,
that's a kind of what you should be working on the most :
it's trying to improve your weak points.
Now, a couple of things that you might want to consider
Particularly, one shape that we looked at in the last lesson,
which was the big G chord
Now, the big G chord, we're using all four fingers,
changing to D chord.
It's a very very common chord change to make
particularly a lot of AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi
that kind of rock stuff.
Especially the acoustic rock stuff.
That's a really really common change,
so do a little bit of that
partly so you get used to hearing it
as well as being able to play it.
And the thing that you'll notice is
you get a third finger anchor as well
changing from big G
to the regular D, open chord.
So, that's one that you might want to check out.
The other one that you might want to work on a little bit
is going from a C chord to the new two-finger G
that we talked about in the last lesson.
That just uses your third and fourth finger.
So do a little bit of work going
C to that G over and over.
It would also be ones that possibly I'd suggest you work on
but otherwise,
it's just pick the ones that are the hardest
and off you go.
So this is another one of those uber-quick lessons.
It's just time for you to get to work.
See you soon.
Bye-bye.
