MIKE SPINELLI: Hey, welcome to DRIVE CENTRAL.
Here's where you're going to find out what's going on on
DRIVE this week.
Follow us on Twitter, and don't forget to Zuckerberg us
on Facebook or whatever you do there.
That's Facebook.com/DriveTV.
Anyway, we are in season three on DRIVE, and that
means Tuned is back.
MATT FARAH: Eight years after the last five-cylinder S4
landed on these shores, the five *** your returns, this
time under the hood of the TT RS.
And we can't wait to see what APR has done with it.
You know, I've never actually driven any TT RS before, so I
don't really have a good basis of comparison.
But the TT RS is a $57,000 car.
Comes with a turbo-charged, five-cylinder engine and
all-wheel drive, of course.
It does is 0 to 60 in 4.1 seconds.
It has 360 horsepower.
So that's the basic car.
Now, this is their development car.
So the product is not out yet.
So what we're doing is actually kind of helping them
test it, giving them feedback, letting them know what we like
about the car, and what we don't like about the car.
MIKE SPINELLI: Marty, Marty!
That's Tuned, with Matt Farah every Monday and on Live and
Let Drive, it's week two of Alex's Icelandic adventure.
You know, Alex means fragile warrior in Icelandic.
Perhaps.
Here's a clip.
ALEX ROY: In the states, a lifted pickup, a lifted truck,
usually means the kid blew summer work money to impress
his friends.
But Reykjavik, a lifted truck--
and I just saw a bunch of them--
looks like the business.
Toyota Hiluxes, a couple of Nissans, made our Defender,
our rental Defender, look pretty puny.
Then we got to Gullfoss, to the tourist center, to the
parking lot, where our Defender was literally the
smallest truck in the place.
MIKE SPINELLI: And on Road Testament, it's the best used
cars in the world.
This week, it's the best cars going for $10,000.
Get your three picks in now, leave them in the comments
below, or use the social media tool of your choice.
Use the little social media tool.
And don't miss ShakeDown for everything you wanted to know
about racing, but we're waiting for Leo
Parente to tell you.
That's ShakeDown on DRIVE every Monday and Friday.
And the weekend belongs to Larry Kosilla and his
assortment of sponges.
Make your car look awesome.
That's what the weekend's all about.
And that's Drive Clean every Saturday.
And, again, don't forget to get your official DRIVE shirts
at DRIVEshirts.com.
Go there now.
You will not regret the comfort.
Anyway, that's it for DRIVE CENTRAL this week.
We will see you next week here at the grim
North Korean chic desk.
See you later.
