Hi everyone! This is going to be the first video in a series of three videos
in which I'm going to customize shoes. And I'm going to start with a project that is
perfect for Christmas. But you guys will be able to wear it all year long
These shoes
were a regular pair of peep toes. And what I did was
to cover the heel and the sole with beads
For this I recycled an epaulet from an H&M dress that I threw away
But I kept the epaulets, just in case. And they were perfect
for this part of the heel
As you can see
The combination of different types of beads looks pretty cool
If you don't have a similar trimming
you can just sew the beads to a piece of tulle, and them glue it
with a hot glue gun
The other option is to
directly glue the beads
Ok, so this is not so difficult, I hope you guys like this and
dare to do it yourselves
Apply the hot glue and attach the beads
This kind of glue dries in a few seconds
so you'd better work little by little
If you want to use a trimming, like my epaulets, you'll probably need to adapt it
Cut the spare and apply glue where necessary
Now just add some more glue on the inner side of the heel
and sprinkle the beads
Being careful not to get burnt, press slightly and remove the excess
