Let me see that, what are you recording?
-No, I'm not recording. -You're not recording?
Ohh!

I see your camera, I raise you four.
That's our camera. That's it there.

The hidden cameras are very much like a live show
where we have to shoot it live with multiple cameras.
A regular shoot where we're indoors
and we're running cables through the ceiling,
we're wiring robotic cameras and furniture,
and we're really setting up a high-tech system,
it could take 4 to 6 hours.
I mean, a whole morning of work
just tweaking all the technology,
so when the jokers show up we can make funny.
Cast: We have three vehicles, let's say, full of equipment
that need to find a place to hide away
so when the marks arrive, we are a hidden-camera show.
Sometimes you're in a park where the best way
to cover it is handheld all in the bushes
and behind trees in the middle of a busy park.
The crew member who rides his bike here
and then uses it to hide behind. You got to love that efficiency.
Cast: Sometimes we're in an isolated waiting room
or doctor's office or something like that.
And the best way to cover that
is to bring in furniture with tinted glass
and put robotic cameras
where you can be in a room with 15 cameras
and only one other person and have no idea.
What was my biggest expenditure in the past 12 months?
Oh, that's easy!
I paid to have a dolphin named after my sister.

Usually we set up about 4 robotic cameras
and between 4 and 8 fixed-position cameras.
Scarborough: If I put 25 cameras on a scene,
I can just cover everything.
I got cameras everywhere.
Can you see me?
Man: Yeah, we see you. Just your eyes and your hair.
[ Bells jingle ]
Cameras have lenses that can zoom in and out.
[ Bells jingle ]
is to get the best reactions of the jokers and the marks
that we can show America without getting caught.
Getting caught, no good.
Joe: The tent. The white tent. Punch in.
Great hidden-camera work we got going on.
[ Laughter ]
The end of the lens is sticking out of the white tent!
This is a look behind the curtain.
That was more of a camera show there than a hidden-camera show.
