Ok, take a look at this, this is an extraordinary subwoofer
from the folks at Earthquake. And sitting right here
is one of the engineers that actually designed
this Subwoofer technology. She has been in the lab for years
working on this. Coming up with this tech right here.
Look at this thing... Look at the throw on this Subwoofer!
It's absolutely incredible. How many years have you been
working on this technology? -4 years. -4 years, very nice.
And we have Joseph from Earthquake Sound Corporation.
How are you doing, Joseph? -Fine, thank you.
I am a model here at Earthquake. -You're the model
and she's the engineer, right? Absolutely. Now, what's the story
with this thing because this poor girl looks like she's about to be literally
thrown off of this Subwoofer. What makes this thing, besides the fact
that it looks like it's about to kill this poor girl,
what makes this thing special? -This is one of our Home-Theatre Subwoofers,
it also works with music. It's designed to go where no other sub
have gone before. It goes below this audible...
As you can see, we're standing next to it, it's vibrating.
right now I can feel it actually shaking my pants.
-Yes. Standing in front of it, like the entire floor
around this thing is going absolutely nuts. -Yes.
So basically what we have here is vibration and sub harmonics.
No other sub gets down to 15 Hz. This is unheard of.
In fact, you won't hear it. Now we can also change it,
with the signal generator, so it actually goes...
Oh there it goes. I just heard it come up into the audible range there.
So this is basically what it does in the audible.
Oh my God! -This is 41 Hz.
Now basically our company works in the audible zone, sub-audible zone,
and also works in vibration. This is a gamer platform
that connects below even that. It goes down to 5 Hz.
If I go to turn it on right now, you'll see that it will actually connect
to this Subwoofer and it will start to vibrate.
Ok, I'll show you what it does. Stand on it.
This panel here, it's actually going to vibrate.
You just have to stand on it. -Oh my dear God!
So now this is something you would put, ok.
...XBox or anything you put your feet on this,
and you actually have a motional experience with it.
So you can actually put your chair on top of this thing. -That's right.
And you'll feel every single explosion, everything that's involved
in a game or a movie. -That's right. You're actually bringing people
in to the experience. -Yes, yes. Closer to reality.
Oh, look at that. Oh my god! -It's jumping off the ground.
Now this technology comes from our military division.
We use this for stabilization of tanks,
we use it for larger components, 600 pounds and up.
and what we do is when a tank fires, we're stabilize it so it fires
with more accuracy. We reduced the design
to small consumer products like that.
This is really incredible. Is this available on the market right now?
Yes, this is basically the Quake 10.0. We have 3 models.
We have a newer version that latches on over a chair.
Wow, this is incredible.
And what's great is that it doubles... it could be a massage chair.
Oh God, it's like one of those vibrating chairs
at the mall that you can sit on. This is incredible. And it doesn't cost me
a single cent and I appreciate it. Joseph, thank you very much.
Bye, thank you.
