Diy - The carrie bag

Hey everybody today I have a DIY video for you in which I´m showing you how to make Carrie Bradshaws purse from the new series the Carrie Diaries For this you need a black bag this one I got from a second hand shop for 5€ and a lot of nailpolish so if you´d like to know how to turn this bag into this bag keep watching this video Let´s start! Here you can see I already started because just now I´d figured out a technique to paint the bag What I did was scoop a lot of nailpolish out with its brush and start throwing it onto the bag so that lines and dots are created I took very bright colors like neon pink or yellow because young Carrie lives in the 80ies so her bag looks very 80ies I thought those colors were perfect for it You should definitely put newspaper everywhere so you don´t make a mess because it can get very messy I had to clean up everything afterwards you could also put your hand as a shield so the color doesn´t get everywhere here you can see I´m almost done and it´s so much fun what I´m doing now is I´m writing my name on it I thought I could personalize it a little You can write your name on it and if you want you can just write Carrie on it Like Carrie did in the series make sure to take a bright color that really pops out so it doesn´t get lost in all those colors I used a hot pink that´s about it that´s the finished product! I added a heart behind my name because it looks cuter that way I hoped you liked the video and of course the bag too I think it is fashion forward and very daring I guess it´s so much fun to wear!
