Hi! I'm Terri Turco with Expert Village and we are back. We finished making the fudge
really blending all of those ingredients together. Now it's a really nice chocolaty color as
it's supposed to be. Now, we're going to put it into the ready made pan. Now, what's really
important before you pour all these ingredients into the pan to harden, is that you want to
prepare your pan. As you can see, this is a square cake pan. You can use square. You
can use round. You can actually use a larger pan if you would like, but I always think
it's good to use a small 8 inch cake pan because number one; it's easier to cut the pieces,
and number two; what this is going to give you is about 3 inch thick piece of fudge.
Everybody when they have fudge, they cut small pieces, but they like them nice and thick.
That's what I found through the years. The best thing to do to get fudge out of the pan.
A lot of people just put it in because it's a non-stick. I found through the years that
that's not really the best way. You really lose a lot of your fudge when you do it that
way. I highly recommend taking 2 pieces of foil and just placing them horizontal and
widthwise, and folding over. As you can see, it doesn't need to be perfect. What you do
is you also margarine or butter and you just grease it down so it's going to be really
easy for it come up when it's finally hard. As you can see, we're all set to pour that
fudge into this wonderful pan.
