Juvederm Ultra Lip Filler Treatment - Dr rita rakus

I'm Dee Dorson, I'm sixty three years old and for the last four or five years i've really noticed that my lips are getting a lot thinner than they used to be I've tried having them tattooed a little bit over the line but it doesn't have a wonderful effect, so I'm here today to see Dr Rakus to see if she can suggest anything that will improve them for me i'm really excited to see what she has to offer and if it's going to make me look younger I really hope this is going to transform me Lips will start to feel numb shortly and we will apply it quite generously good Hello I'm Dr Rita Rakus, a cosmetics physician in Knightsbridge Today we are going to work on Dee's lips and rejuvenate her perioral commissure's and give her a tiny bit of volume in the lips alright Dee if you would like to bring the mirror up I'll just have a little look at your lips here So what I propose with your consent today is to lift your corners here a little bit of filler here maybe lift your lip a bit up here how does that sound for you? That would be good just come forward for me thast it wonderful and the main thing is to keep nice and still so just little injections here, hopefully not too pain full were using a juvederm ultra which is a high uronic gel which totally natural and fully biodegradable ok so that's not too bad is it! Just going a bit higher up in the corners this is juvederm ultra three coming up nicely alright, so we will do a little bit more round here but it's not bad is it can certainly tell you have done this before about forty thousand treatments alright so don't smile for me just pout your top lip relax pouting this is sort of what the perioral area alright we will give you a tiny break and put some ice on and then we will do your lip did find the needles rather sharp but i wouldn't say its painfull, it's uncomfortable but by the time you think thats probably enough it's finished and your onto another bit its bearable and all in a good cause so now we're going to use some juvederm smile on you, specifically designed for the lips and I'll show you the juvederm smile brochure and the lips that I did in it, so you can see that it looks nice and natural all right if you come forward for me I'm just going to pop a bit in your top lip How is juvederm smile better than 3 and 4 its specially designed for the lip its softer and bit more flexible just close your lips for me there's a lot more movement in the lip so it's longer lasting how long does it last about a year open up your mouth for me big smile for me do you do top and bottom lips? It depends on what size they are sometime you need the top and sometime you need top and bottom we are going to do a little bit of both here coming along nicely need a little bit more here in the corners just going to wipe down a bit to tidy up a bit hows that nice and soothing? hows that looking for you? are you happy with that? obviously we can't lift all this up but I think you've had nice subtle treatment we normally get you back in two weeks to have a look we don't want anything too obvious you get very few side effects but with any lip injection you could always get a bruise or swelling or redness but I think we have done well today now just sit up for me now basically a little bit of massage morning and night avoid extremes of heat and cold in the next twenty-four hours so no saunas or hele-skiing just open your move wide and it's how do you have not found and a tiny bit of massage for about 30 seconds morning and night its settled down quite quickly, it looks quite good so obviously if you need a lift through here you need other treatments but we've just tried to focus around your mouth get that looking nice and fresh nothing to obvious tho so I just finished having my treatment and it was actually much less painful than i imagined it would be, having injections into your lips i thought was going to be very painful but actually wasn't any worse than that and injection into the skin around mouth and as I said before it wasnt pleasant but it wasn't so bad that you couldn't bear it and I'm pleased with the result and I think over the next few days it will settle down quite a bit and look a bit more natural than it does now yes i would certainly do it again in essence it was a very worthwhile thing to do I think
