Thank you for using KCL Web.
In this video we will demonstrate the DocLinks function.
This includes links to installation and operations manuals and other manufacturer files.
In this example, we'll search for the Hatco FTB-S2 frost top model.
The Installation and Operating Manual is in the Product Manufacturer window.
Clicking the Acrobat icon opens the manual in a Web browser.
Here is the document with a scrolling page preview on the left.
Depending on your PDF viewer, you may be able to save a copy of the document to your hard drive.
Now let's open the RPI SC386D.
This has an Operating Manual and Warranty Guide plus a Parts List and a Product Feature Video. It all depends on the manufacturer.
Let's insert this into Revit.
Having already downloaded the manual, this is an example of what you can do.
We have a 3D view and an elevation.
You can clip a sheet from the manual and paste it to the page.
And here's the schedule so you can provide as much information to your clients as they need.
