Tomorrow will be a tough game as we’ll be up against an angry Juventus side. Angry because they’ve been criticized after their draw in the Champions League. Unjustified as well as they played a good game.
It’ll be a tough game for us, the last one in this period when we’ve been playing three games a week with a lot of players unavailable. I couldn’t rest any players in this period even if they needed it. Now we have this last push in Turin before the international break. It’ll be a very intense game and very technical as well.
Juventus were and still are the favorites for the title this season. They’re an experienced side, very physical, they’re very technical. They’re a very different side to Ajax. They have the same characteristics that they had two months ago and last season as well. In Italy, when you go one game without a win, they say it’s a crisis. Juventus are definitely in crisis. Wednesday’s match was something of an anomaly. If they were to play that game 100 times over, they’d win it 100 times. We’ll have to be very careful and play a very attentive game. A lot of energy has been spent in this period. There a tough team and we’ll have to fight hard but I’m looking forward to a good game tomorrow.
